DESCRIPTION:

Sparkle in Grey decided to publicly strip down to the bones, taking their whole debut album “A Quiet Place” and doing the big effort of reducing its five tracks to the most possibly bare essence of sounds.

“The Bones of Quietness” comes out on April 11th 2018 in a naked edition, 55 copies in total, half a half between CDs and cassettes, only dressed with a professionally printed cardboard adorned by handmade stamps by Alberto Carozzi and 55 drawings by Matteo Uggeri who is, since the very beginning of Sparkle in Grey, the visual artist of the project.

In spite of the minimal shape of the release, the mix of the album actually started in 2008, right after the publication of “A Quiet Place”, and took ten years to be finalised, assembled and then released.

We just now greedily hope that it’ll be sold out as fast as capitalism is consuming our world.
