Live at Arci Blob: Rinus Van Alebeek, Carlo Ronchi, Paolo Romano, Matteo Uggeri

"Mario Bossi of Arci Blob, a great place that is more than a restaurant and less than a club, asked me and Alberto Carozzi of Sparkle in Grey to help him somehow in organising experimental concert. As I was in touch with Rinus Van Alebeek and he was coming in Italy in this period to play at the Festival della Creatività (in Florence), we decided to make him play here at Blob. We wanted to find some local artist to join him, so Mario asked Tasaday's members Sandro Ripamonti and Carlo Ronchi. They accepted (one for the visuals the other for the music) to join Rinus, and they also involved Paolo Romano of I/O. This strange quartet of people (electric and acoustic bass players, a field recordist and a visual artist) promised a totally improvised show. During the dinner before the gig Rinus had also the idea of involving me to 'help' him playing some of the several walkmen he uses and tapping the contact microphones.
The result of this weird creative process can be listened here.
