DESCRIPTION: So far only one short EP issued by Fluid Audio in 2013, "Four Steps on Points", has been accredited to Matteo Uggeri only, while all other his albums, as "Un’estate senza pioggia" (“A Rainless Summer”, 2003) has been released as collaboration with other artists or with his previous moniker Hue and Der Einzige. Therefore this "Untitled Winter" can be considered as the very first full length album on his own name. This doesn’t mean that he worked alone: as always several other friends and collaborators provided unintentionally sounds of acoustic instruments that are the most typical footprint of the Italian composer. Its poetic in fact sees him refusing to play live (except for the Sparkle in Grey gigs, the post-rock ensemble with whom he plays since 2005) and the use of sounds collected from various sources, from strings to field recordings, from piano to the trumpet that he badly plays by himself. "Untitled Winter" is now issued by the American label Scissor Tails Editions in 2014 after five years from his completion, done in the nights of Christmas holidays between 2009 and 2010.
